Directorate Command is the senior of the two commands of DETR. It contains the two bodies that govern the Department and the directorates that operate it.

• Office of the Director-General — marking TS//HICOM-ODG
• Security Council — marking TS//DIRCOM-SC
• The Operational Chief, with two Advisory per Directorate
• The Directorates concerned with facility operation, research, logistics, health, regulation and internal security

Strategic Command holds field operations and the judicial function and sits beneath DIRCOM.
