Clearance Classes
CONTROLLED UNCLASSIFIED//DETR ARCHIVE//REL TO CLASS-D
Clearance Classes govern personnel grade and information access throughout DETR. The two are the same ladder. A class is not a rank held alongside an access level; it is the access level, and it determines what a person may be told, what corridor a badge will open, and what will render on this archive.
The ladder
| Class | Information tier | Entry | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class-A | TOP SECRET | HICOM selection | SAR-GREEN DOVE. Custody-level access.
|
| Class-B | SECRET | HICOM selection | SAR-RED DOVE under DISC; SAR-WHITE LINNET under DRA.
|
| Class-C | RESTRICTED | CC Application | Two streams: the DRA/DISC/OTA stream and the directorate stream. |
| Class-D | CONTROLLED UNCLASSIFIED | CD Application | Departmental staff. The body of the workforce. |
| Test Subject | UNCLASSIFIED | — | Entry state. |
Movement
- CD Application — Test Subject to Class-D
- CC Application — Class-D to Class-C
- HR — lateral transfer between directorates at equal class
- HICOM — advancement into Class-B and Class-A. Not an application. A selection.
Class-D is the first Departmental grade. Personnel below it are not staff.
