A resonance artefact recovered by American personnel and used to open the primary containment barrier at Ark Chasm in July 1959. Mechanism assessed as acoustic or vibrational. No manual force was applied to the barrier.
Missing since the incident.
The Soviet observer present reported it absent when she regained consciousness outside the perimeter, by a means of extraction she was unable to account for.
The object has not been recovered in sixty-seven years and no body has held an active search file on it since 1974.
