Seven harmonic pulses originating deep beneath Antarctica in 1983, named for their resemblance to the biblical account by the personnel who logged them, before anyone in authority had the opportunity to select a designation that meant nothing.
The pulses disrupted radio, television and satellite signal worldwide and produced immediate public panic. The ancient seal at Ark Chasm fractured from the interior, releasing The Beast.
Precipitated Operation LAST LIGHT in the same year.
